Mr. Kenta Sakamoto’s practice focuses on Invention Mining, the Preparation and Prosecution of Domestic and Foreign Patent Applications, Expert Opinions, and IP Consulting to provide competent expertise to clients in the field of Chemistry.

Mr. Sakamoto has expertise in the area of Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Metals, Machinery, and Structures.

He has research experience in the fields of Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Metals at university and graduate school. His analytical and evaluation skills include spectroscopic analysis (UV-vis, IR), elemental analysis (ICP), XRD, thermal analysis (TG/DTA), SEM, TEM, NMR, and catalytic analysis (metal-dispersity, specific surface area, acid/basicity evaluation).

Prior to joining Prezio, Mr. Sakamoto worked for a Japanese heavy industry manufacturer, engaging in various intellectual property matters, including applications and licensing of domestic and foreign patent, patent research, handling of disputes, handling of joint application contracts.
