a member of an international IP firm (Prezio) and
a founder of an application development company.
Educational Background
Mr. Mizunaga earned his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the Department of Life Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology and his Master of Science in Bioengineering from the Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Tokyo Institute of Technology.
In particular, Mr. Mizunaga was engaged in the search for novel antibiotics that approach control mechanisms of bacterial RNA metabolism at university and the elucidation of the cell division mechanism (the physical mechanism governed by specific proteins), which is the early development of animal cells in the graduate master's program.
Mr. Mizunaga’s Master’s Thesis is entitled
“A FORCE GENERATED BY MICROTUBULES AT ANAPHASE IN SEA URCHIN EGGS”.
(Abstract)
The thesis investigates the mechanism of cellular division in sea urchin eggs.
